No way in hell I would buy food being prepared by bare hands. Oh btw they def had gloves on while preparing the food. I believe it was almost $8 but to me totally worth it and the amount of chicken was perfect. It had spring mix salad, tomatoes, croutons, onions, and cucumbers. I didn't have high hopes for the salad considering they looked more geared to the meals w/fries but it was great! Not ghetto at all. Hey, it's better than adding the carbs in the other meals right?! She said yes, so I believe I got a #11. I'm trying to eat healthier, not that a fried chicken cutlet is healthy but asked if I could get it on a salad. Normally I go to chipotle but sheesh I come out of there spending almost $12 for a bowl w/guac. Nothing wrong with organic food and all that jazz but I came here cause the taste was simply delish. It was the soy garlic chicken cutlet that they are known for. So they def swindled me with that sample they give out, which I normally grab from places and keep it moving. This doesn't matter to me as I know next time I'm in the mall I'll be heading back to BocBoc. These mall folks are about turnover, so you get efficient, but clipped service. They lose a star for that.ĭon't expect crazy happy service here. Some of the bits in my order were nothing but breading with no chicken while others were overfried chicken. She pretty much devoured it, which is unusual for her (she's not a huge salad person) so while she couldn't really tell me *why* she loved it, she told me it was "very good" (for my mom, that's effusive praise).īocBoc also offers a "popcorn chicken" that I tried, but I'd stay away from it. My mom had the grilled chicken salad which includes wild greens and seasoned, grilled chicken. The flavor hits all your taste bud happy places (sweet, salty etc.) and the texture is crunchy and tender all at the same time. I was expecting low quality, dry chicken but when I sampled their food I knew I had to order it. I was in, hook, line and sinker.īocBoc is one of many stands inside Queens Center Mall's food court. This is the drama that goes on every day at BocBoc chicken and when I was the person having the free sample, their plan worked. Now cut it up into pieces, give out free samples and BOOM, you've hooked a customer. Now brush a generous amount of a delicious, sweet, garlic soy sauce. Take some thin, tender chicken breast, bread it thoroughly then deep fry it.
